Meet Nancy, she’s a dear friend of ours and one of the first people we got to know in Honduras when we were attending a language school in Siguatepeque back in 2017. When we arrived in Honduras, we needed someone to take care of our three young children while we were in Spanish class for four hours every morning. Through some trusted connections, we met Nancy, who we had to interview in Spanish – which was quite challenging for us at the time.

Nancy has been a wonderful blessing in our lives, even years later, we are still amazed at how God brought her into our lives. She patiently took care of our children during a challenging time when we were adjusting to a new culture and language. She has loved and cared for our kids so well, and we are incredibly grateful for her.

After we left Siguatupeque to head to Trujillo, Nancy found a job producing high end leather goods for a company out of California. She learned her new trade and developed her skills to become a fantastic leatherworker. However, she lost her job during the pandemic.

Instead of giving up, Nancy decided to keep using her leatherworking skills. She bought all the tools she needed and set up a workshop in her dining room. She still makes amazing leather products today and we’re proud to help people in the US buy them.

We handle most orders for her as pre orders, and ship them to the US when we have a chance for someone we know to travel with the orders. So wait times will vary if you order something we do not have in stock in Texas, but we will reach out to you to keep you updated.
